I decided to found Nalla Design in 2010 with the aim of ensuring the digital revolution was not ignored. Nearly ten years on, I am now responsible for company-wide strategy, culture, sales and marketing. I also work as the strategic lead on our larger projects, embedding my deep knowledge of technology and digital transformation into branding and digital design direction.
I’m fortunate to work with some of the brightest Account Managers in London. As well as keeping an eye on overall client satisfaction and budgets, I work closely with our clients to understand consumer behaviour, solve real business challenges and build lasting professional relationships.
I head up the design team at Nalla, and have a passion for design and craft as well as bringing out the best creative solutions from our team. I’ve creatively led several award-winning projects, including global audience projects with Virgin, AOL, EA Sports, Informa and EY.
With over five years’ account management experience and a degree in Visual Communication, my expertise lies in leading strategic branding, digital and implementation projects. I deliver long-term value for our clients whilst making sure they enjoy the journey.
My career began in Bristol, working on award-winning projects for, Carlsberg, Coca Cola and Nestlé. I then moved to London, carrying with me my expertise in day-to-day project management and passion for delivering results for clients. I’m happiest being surrounded by creativity, and ensuring every task has momentum.
After starting out in the music industry, I now oversee marketing activities at Nalla and love showing off just how passionate and innovative we are as an agency. I am driven by our unique capacity for building and maintaining genuine empathetic connections with our clients, and producing transformative and highly creative results.
As Senior Designer, I love collaborating with my team and encouraging new ways of thinking. Strong ideas are the foundations of great design – this is always the starting point for me. I believe that design can truly make a difference, and love seeing the positive impact it can have on users, businesses and culture.
As a designer at Nalla, it’s my job to ensure that brands of all sizes are communicating cohesively across all touchpoints. I love a challenge and thrive off collaboration, using my skills to help brands stay relevant and transform in an ever-changing world.
I am a designer working on brand identity, typography and digital design. I like to mix functionality with creativity, keeping in mind core design principles combined with research, to convey a particular aesthetic. I believe communication is the main ingredient in creating an enduring design project.
I started writing for a living in 1987, and still love how words can shape people’s perception of brands. I have developed tones of voice for several Nalla clients, including a global information business and a large management consultancy. I also write for websites, ads, blogs, tweets, white papers and songs.
I have 18 years experience working with both creative agencies and brands to develop innovative marketing and new business strategies, helping companies define their positioning, develop their tone of voice and ensure their marketing communications are on brand and as impactful as possible. I love integrating myself within any business, to help realise its ambitions and overcome its challenges.
I am an internationally recognised consultant on branding and experiential design, and writer and speaker with over 30 years experience both client and agency side in the creative industries. I work closely with each of my clients to realise the full value of my personal fusion of management consulting, brand strategy, experience design and change management to deliver rapid improvement to the front-line and bottom-line of their businesses.
