Client Growth Partner
Real partners, real growth
Overview
In a sector that can often appear conservative and impersonal, Growth Partner is an investment firm that’s anything but ordinary. Founded by Richard Harpin — the visionary entrepreneur behind HomeServe — their focus is on more than just funding; they’re building partnerships and a community to ensure ambitious founders achieve remarkable growth.
Despite their impressive impact and success, their brand lacked depth and distinctiveness; it simply didn’t reflect the personal relationships they’ve forged with ambitious entrepreneurs. Growth Partner had many compelling stories to tell, it needed a brand that could do just that.
Growth Partner needed to pivot away from the bland investor sector and reflect their strong values in who they are.
Nalla
A refreshed strategy backed by their investors
Our starting point was to understand the relationships they’d built with the businesses they’ve invested in. Talking to entrepreneurs, we saw the reasons why they had chosen Growth Partner, and how the community was actively helping them to grow better businesses. Alongside this, we worked closely with the GP team, defining a brand strategy, clarifying their messaging, and ensuring Richards’s role was clearly articulated.
They’re investors but not how you’ve seen it before. They’re personable, they care and they share the pain and celebration on the growth journey.

Defining their difference
Throughout our initial conversations one theme kept recurring; Growth Partner’s desire to not just provide capital, but to go ‘beyond investment’. This simple truth underpinned a brand strategy everyone could embrace.
The visual identity communicates a confident, personal approach, putting the emphasis on the many successful journeys the business has helped to shape. Typography plays a key role, with contemporary fonts emphasising approachability, whilst handwritten headlines give the brand a personal feel.
A neutral colour palette allows partners’ voices and imagery to take centre stage; vibrant accents add sophistication and confidence. Together, these elements create a brand that’s supportive and refreshingly straight-talking.

We weren’t sure it would be possible to convey the depth of personal connection and the complexity of investment within a new brand – but Nalla worked with us to draw this out and develop a brand we are so proud of.

Honest, relatable and real
Growth Partner’s imagery is all about capturing real people and genuine moments, celebrating the challenges and successes of the ambitious entrepreneurs within its community. This isn’t a business or a sector that stands still, each business is constantly evolving and shifting. Stop motion style imagery supports the fast-paced nature of each founder’s journey – creating a visual ‘scrapbook’ representation of the work they’re doing, and their story so far.

Mentors, not just investors
The brand’s flexibility spotlights both the Growth Partner team and their partners’ stories, from digital applications through to printed materials and presentations.
At its core, the new brand is a commitment to being more than just investors — it reflects their role as true partners in growth. For Growth Partner it’s not simply about financial backing — it’s far more personal. It’s partnering with a founder every step of the way, investing knowledge and delivering value far beyond the financial; acting as mentors, guides and hands-on supporters for all the businesses they partner with.
This people-first approach is woven into every aspect of the brand, highlighting the team’s expertise and their dedication to driving growth and transformation.

Our fresh brand is helping us to tell the Growth Partner story in a new and powerful way. It truly reflects the depth of the work we do and the relationships we build.
